YG, “AKMU to Make Comeback on September, Will Release 3 New Songs Until the End of the Year”
[뉴스엔=황혜진 기자] Sibling duo AKMU(AKMU/LEE CHAN HYUK, LEE SU HYUN) will make comeback.
On August 11, YG Entertainment revealed, “AKMU will make a total of 3 new releases from September until the end of the year in special formats. They’ve completed working on their songs and are currently preparing 3 MVs to express their variety of colors”.
They continued, “If the listeners have checked on AKMU’s change and growth through their 3rd official album ‘Sailing’ released last month, the listeners can now look forward to their evolution this year”. They also added, “Please look forward to AKMU’s new story and music, on the world of emotions they’ve freely swam into after sailing the deep and wide sea of music like ‘fish meets water’”.
AKMU will be making comeback in approximately 11 months. AKMU has released their 3rd official album ‘Sailing’ last year on October, and dominated no. 1 spots on major Korean music charts including Melon, Bugs, and Naver for a month through their title song, ‘How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love’. Not only the title song, but all songs listed on the album were placed on the top ranks of music charts, receiving heated support from music fans.
