‘Debut’ TREASURE, 3 Million Simultaneous Viewers on V LIVE+6 Million MV Views in Half a Day

On August 7 at 6 PM, TREASURE released their debut single album ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE’ and the MV for its title song, ‘BOY’.
TREASURE held a ‘COUNTDOWN LIVE’ broadcast at 4 PM, 2 hours prior to the release of the album, which reached over 3 million viewers and received over 1 billion hearts.
Furthermore, the hashtag #TREASURE_DEBUT_DDAY celebrating TREASURE’s debut was ranked at no. 1 on Twitter’s global real-time trend rankings.
The popularity of the group led to huge attention on TREASURE’s debut title song ‘BOY’ and its MV.
The MV for ‘BOY’ uploaded on YouTube reached 2M views in 2 hours and as of August 8 at 9 AM, the video surpassed 6.2M views, making the people look forward to the video surpassing 10M views. TREASURE’s official YouTube channel subscribers increased by approximately 200 thousand as well, adding up to a total of 1.57M subscribers.
The song ‘BOY’ also topped iTunes Song charts in 19 different countries including Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia. The song was also ranked at no. 1 and no. 3 on Japan’s Line Music chart and iTunes chart respectively, as well as being ranked at the Top 11 of China QQ Music’s New Releases chart.
