TREASURE is a rookie group being presented in 4 years by YG Entertainment(hereby YG) since BLACKPINK and is a boy group with the biggest number of members among all artist groups in 24 years of YG history, with 12 members. The 12 members were selected through the survival program ‘YG TREASURE BOX’, aired from November 2018 until January 2019.
YG has revealed the concept video and debut poster containing TREASURE’s world through their official blog on July 20 at 9 AM.
The message containing TREASURE’s determination targeting the global market, shown through the concept video, impressed the viewers. With the narration, “There are discoveries to be made in everyday life”, innovational events and findings which have contributed to the development of mankind became motifs and got connected to TREASURE’s identity. It followed up to the narration, “This one step will change everything”, and at the end of the clip, the light composed by 12 members spread out to cover up the entire earth.
With the narration, “This will is going to shake the world / We call this THE TREASURE EFFECT”, their scheduled debut date ‘August 7, 2020’ was displayed in the end, raising the expectations of global fans.
