WINNER Starts Off New Year with Their Asia Tour Thailand Concert… Heated Media Coverage+Audience in Full
[OSEN=선미경 기자] Boy group WINNER began the new year with their concert held in Bangkok, Thailand. The Heated media coverage and hordes of local fans in addition to fans gathered from neighboring countries proved the group’s local popularity.
On January 11th(local time) and on the 12th, WINNER held the WINNER [CROSS] TOUR IN BANGKOK in Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani and continued their global popularity chase.
For WINNER who has revisited Thailand in 2 years since their ‘EVERYWHERE’ tour back in 2018, the fans welcomed WINNER from the airport and gifted them a passionate welcome ceremony. The fan signing event and press conference held prior to the concert also proved WINNER’s local popularity.
Prior to the actual concert, WINNER held a press conference under heated media coverage of Thai press and shared many different stories. The members’ sincere replies and comments with sense made the scene lively in mood.
WINNER raised the people’s anticipation by stating, “We’ve prepared many things for our Thailand concert, so please enjoy”. They added, “We’ll make unforgettable memories together”.
WINNER began the concert with their hit song ‘EVERYDAY’ and made the audience cheer through songs ‘LOVE ME LOVE ME’, ‘ISLAND’, and ‘REALLY REALLY’. The members’ solo performances added variety to the show and grabbed the audience with fantastic visuals and sounds.
They also had time to learn choreography of solo releases by the members, adding even more joy. The members connected with the fans by selecting fans on the standing seats who can learn the choreography of MINO’s ‘Fiancé’ together.
INNCER CIRCLE of Thailand prepared a surprise cake for HOONY, who’s birthday was on the date of their first concert in Bangkok. The members shared an unforgettable moment with the fans and sang the birthday song together. Furthermore, the fans also touched the members’ hearts with a slogan that read, ‘Every moment of your existence is the best gift’.
Lastly, WINNER shared their gratitude on having their new year’s concert with the fans by stating, “It feels like yesterday when we faced last year with our tour, but we’re happy to face 2020 with all of you through our new tour”.
After successfully completing their concerts being held in Bangkok following their concerts held in Seoul, Taipei, Jakarta, and Macau, WINNER will continue their Asia tour in Kuala Lumpur on the 18th, in Manila on 1/25, in Ho Chi Minh on 2/1, and in Singapore on 2/8.
