Tickets for BLACKPINK’s Kyocera Dome Concert Sold Out… An Audience of 100 Thousand Cheers for BLACKPINK





[동아닷컴=전효진 기자] Group BLACKPINK’s Japan dome tour concert was sold out once again, allowing the group to begin 2020 with a big step.
On January 4th and on the 5th, BLACKPINK held the ‘BLACKPINK 2019-2020 WORLD TOUR IN YOUR AREA’ in Kyocera Dome, Osaka.
Tickets for both concerts were sold out, while an audience of 100 thousand passionately connected with BLACKPINK. After connecting with an audience of 55 thousand in Tokyo Dome last year on December, BLACKPINK entered the fans’ hearts once again through their passionate performances.
The local fans of Japan cheered at BLACKPINK’s dominant performances and global hit-song parade. While eye-contacting with the fans in an active manner, the concert scene was filled with cheers and roars by the fans who reacted to the members’ hand gestures and every single comment.
Their reactions cheered up BLACKPINK’s energy. An event that celebrated JISOO’s birthday, which was a day prior to the concert(3rd), grabbed the people’s attention. During BLACKPINK’s encore performances, the fans prepared a pink placard that read, ‘Happy Birthday, JISOO!’ along with a birthday cake. JISOO was surprised by the fans’ gifts and expressed her gratitude.
BLACKPINK shared the happy moment of having their MV for ‘Kill This Love’ surpass 700 million views on YouTube on the date of the group’s concert held in Kyocera Dome.
BLACKPINK has successfully completed their first-ever world tour titled ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR IN YOUR AREA’, composed of 32 concerts held in a total of 23 cities of 4 continents. Starting in Tokyo Dome last year on December, BLACKPINK is currently on a dome tour composed of 4 concerts being held in 3 cities of Japan to meet the local fans. The tickets for their concerts in Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome, Osaka were all sold out, proving the heated popularity of BLACKPINK in Japan. The finale concert being held in Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome on February 22nd will be broadcasted live in theaters nationwide, so that the fans who are not able to visit the concert can enjoy BLACKPINK’s performances as well.
In addition to their ongoing Japan dome tour, BLACKPINK is working on their new album. The fans’ expectations on BLACKPINK’s upcoming songs this year, following ‘Kill This Love’, are getting higher day by day.
