BLACKPINK, 60 Thousand Tickets For North America Tour Sold Out→2 Additional Shows Added… Proves Global Ticket Power [OFFICIAL]
[OSEN=선미경기자] Girl group BLACKPINK confirmed the addition of 2 more shows to their first-ever North America tour, proving the group’s global ticket power.
On March 4 at 9 AM, BLACKPINK revealed that 2 additional shows will be added to their first-ever North America tour, ‘BLACKPINK 2019 WORLD TOUR with KIA [IN YOUR AREA]‘, in Newark on May 2 and in Fort Worth on May 9 through their official social media account.
The concert venues for BLACKPINK’s first-ever North America tour are arena-sized with over 10 thousand seats per concert, while the 60 thousand seats made available for ticketing for the 6 concerts in 6 cities were all sold out in an instant.
This proved BLACKPINK’s rising popularity as a ‘global girl group’ after establishing their position in the US, the country that leads the global Pop market, despite its high entry barrier.
Moreover, the fact that two additional shows in Newark and Fort Worth were added following the sale of all tickets for their North America tour is a meaningful sign, proving BLACKPINK’s strong ticket power within the US market.
The tickets for the additional shows can be purchased through Ticket Master starting from March 7 at 4 PM(local time).
While proving their global presence, BLACKPINK decorated the finale of their Asia tour in Taipei on March 3.
BLACKPINK is scheduled to perform at the ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’ for the first time as K-Pop idols on April 12 and 19.
Then, starting with their first concert Los Angeles on April 17, the group will continue their world tour schedule in Chicago on April 24, Hamilton on April 27, Newark on May 1 and 2, Atlanta on May 5, and in Fort Worth on May 8 and 9, followed up with concerts in 6 cities of Europe and 2 cities of Australia.
