According to YG Entertainment, all tickets for BLAKCPINK’s Tokyo Dome concert have been sold out. Approximately 55,000 audiences will fill up the arena. One can realize BLACKPINK’s massive popularity in Japan.
Beginning in Tokyo Dome, BLACKPINK will meet the local fans by holding a dome tour composed of 4 concerts to be held in 3 cities. Their schedule will continue in Osaka Kyocera Dome next year on January and in Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome on February.
Tokyo Dome, where BLACKPINK’s tour will begin, is located in the heart of Japan and is known as a symbolic venue among popular artists due to its large scale.
As BLACKPINK has performed in Kyocera Dome for the first time as an overseas girl group(in Japan) last year on December, people are looking forward to the group’s Tokyo Dome concert.
The high expectations can be spotted everywhere. Pop-up stores will open in 3 cities of Japan, where BLACKPINK is scheduled to perform. The store will be open in Harajuku, Tokyo from the 3rd until the 8th. Since the store will have tour goods and original products of the pop-up store, the fans are expected to make visit.
In addition to the dome tour schedule, BLACKPINK will come back and forth between countries to work on their upcoming album.
YG Entertainment recently announced, “BLACKPINK is recording multiple new songs with the goal of releasing a new album in early 2020”.
