On August 16, Tommy Brown, the producer of Ariana Grande’s hits including ‘thank u, next’ and ‘7 Rings’, revealed a selfie taken with BLACKPINK through his Instagram account. He added the tag Seoul as well, indicating that he is currently with BLACKPINK. JISOO greeted Tommy Brown’s visit to Korea by writing, “Welcome”.
Ariana Grande wished to be BLACKPINK’s new member by writing, “Let me join the group”. Tommy added Ariana Grande’s face using photoshop and introduced, “This is the real version”. The fans speculated that BLACKPINK may collaborate with Ariana Grande. There are also indications that Tommy Brown is the producer of BLACKPINK’s upcoming album. BLACKPINK and Ariana Grande have previously revealed a photo taken together in the back stage of ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’, held in California this year.
