The MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ surpassed 900M views on YouTube, yesterday(30th) at 9:30 PM. The record was achieved in 1 year, 1 month, and 14 days since the video was released last year on June 15.
While setting the first and fastest MV records on YouTube, BLACKPINK set an unrivaled milestone in K-Pop by reaching 900M views with ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’.
At the point where ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ reached 200M views, BLACKPINK began setting the fastest record among all K-Pop boy and girl groups. The video set the first and fastest record when it reached 800M views, as well as 900M views. The MV also won the honor of being ranked at no. 1 on the ‘World’s Most Watched K-Pop MV’ list after dominating music charts last year during the summer.
