Group BLACKPINK will go on live through VLIVE, hosting their new release comeback countdown themselves.
Today(2nd) at 4 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded a poster notifying the countdown live of ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ through their official blog.
In the poster, members of BLACKPINK were presenting an elegant image with glamorous accessories in various colors, while also expressing their unique individualities with differentiated stylings.
The VLIVE will take place on April 4 at 11 PM, an hour prior to the release of the group’s new EP album, ‘KILL THIS LOVE’. BLACKPINK, known as ‘fan lovers’, will meet BLINK to notify their comeback and talk about their whereabouts, as well as sharing their thoughts on being placed on VLIVE’s global TOP10.
BLACKPINK will introduce their new EP album titled ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ themselves to communicate with the fans. Moreover, since the fans are highly anticipating their VLIVE as BLACKPINK will introduce their album in a special space containing the concepts of their new MV. In addition, the group will answer to the fans’ curiosities by revealing behind stories from the MV shooting.
Prior to the release of their new EP album ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ on April 5, BLACKPINK is working hard to prepare their comeback activities, including choreography practice.
The title song ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ is a track with fierce lead brass and drum sounds composing its main theme, while BLACKPINK’s charismatic rap and vocals form the song’s unique character. TEDDY and Bekuh BOOM wrote the lyrics of the song while TEDDY, R.Tee, 24, and Bekuh BOOM were credited as the composers. The choreography of ‘KILL THIS LOVE’, created by 4 world-famous choreographers, is known to have the most dynamic choreography among all dances previously created for BLACKPINK, and has a high degree of completion.
BLACKPINK’s upcoming EP album contains a total of 5 tracks including ‘KILL THIS LOVE’, the sub-title song ‘Don’t Know What To Do’, ‘Kick It’, ‘Hope Not’, and a remix version of ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’. The album was confirmed to be released on April 5 at 12 AM to target the global market, which is unprecedented.
