BLACKPINK ROSÉ, “Comeback in 9 Months, Nervous and Excited… Concentrated on Covering the Concept the Most”

[마이데일리=김나라기자] Group BLACKPINK’s member ROSÉ revealed her thoughts on making comeback.

Today(2nd) at 1 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded the individual teaser clip for ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ by ROSÉ through their official blog.

As all individual teasers for the 4 members including LISA, JENNIE, JISOO, and ROSÉ have been revealed, the anticipation on the group’s upcoming comeback has reached its max.

In the video, ROSÉ looked perfect in a leather rider dress and glamorous accessories, presenting a charismatic female warrior-like mood along with her femininity. Despite being a short 15-second clip, ROSÉ left s chic and strong impression while moving throughout as if she is luring the camera.

Regarding the preparation process of their upcoming comeback, ROSÉ revealed her affections towards the group’s EP album by stating, “I concentrated on covering the concept of the songs. Since each song has a clear and differentiated concept, I tried to divide them well and perform image training”.

She continued, “I feel nervous and excited since it’s our comeback in 9 months, but I hope the fans would like it”. 

BLACKPINK’s ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ is a song with its main theme comprised of strong lead brass and epic drum sounds. The song’s lyrics were written by TEDDY and Bekuh BOOM, while TEDDY, R.Tee, 24, and Bekuh BOOM participated as composers to raise the song’s completion to its max.

The EP album ‘KILL THIS LOVE’, filled with BLACKPINK’s various spectrum of music, will be released on April 5 at 12 AM. Due to the request by Universal Music Group, the album was confirmed to be released at 12 AM for its worldwide release.

After the release of their album, BLACKPINK will perform at ‘Coachella Festival’, the biggest music festival of the US, on April 12 and 19. Starting from the 17th in Los Angeles, BLACKPINK will meet their global fans through a North America tour composed of 8 concerts in a total of 6 cities.
