[텐아시아=김하진기자] Well known press channels of the US reported news on BLACKPINK’s upcoming release on April 5 and revealed high expectations.

Billboard, the music entertainment media publisher, covered BLACKPINK’s comeback by writing “BLACKPINK is finally making their return back to our side” and added, “The EP album titled ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ after the name of the title song will be fiercer than any other song the group has previously released”.

Furthermore, Grammy.com and MTV also reported the group’s comeback by writing, “The local fans are looking forward to the new release by the representative girl group of K-Pop” and that “They will witness some serious charms”.

In addition, Yahoo spotlighted BLACKPINK’s upcoming performance at ‘Coachella’. They mentioned that the music fans are looking forward to what kind of performances BLACKPINK will present, as they have been selected as one of the headliners among global artists including Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, and Tame Impala.

BLACKPINK’s upcoming release ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ was produced by TEDDY, who is known to have produced BLACKPINK’s representative songs including ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’. The song’s lead brass and epic drum sounds stand out, while the members’ charismatic rap and vocals added on top create harmony.

BLACKPINK will begin their expansion to the US in full scale with their upcoming EP and their performance at ‘Coachella’. Furthermore, the group will continue various local promotion activities along with their North America tour, starting in Los Angeles on the 17th.
