[OFFICIAL] SEUNGRI Donates 100 Million KRW·YOON Donates 30 Million KRW for ALS Patients
[서울뉴스=윤효정 기자] BIGBANG’s SEUNGRI and WINNER’s YOON is warming up the year-end with making contributions for the people who are in need.
On December 19, SEUNGRI donated 100 million KRW on Seungil Hope Foundation for ALS patients. SEUNGRI has also donated proceeds from Aori FNB, the foodservice franchise he operates, of 100 million KRW towards the Green Umbrella Child Fund Korea this year on his birthday, as he has previously done so last year. SEUNGRI’s donations will be used on the construction of the ALS nursing hospital and to purchase the daily necessities for children of low-income families.
YOON also donated 30 million KRW on the Seungil Hope Foundadation (Co-representatives Park Seungil•SEAN) for ALS patients on the 18th. It’s his second donation on the foundation after he donated 5 million KRW while participating in the Ice Bucket Challenge on June. YOON’s donations will be used on the construction of the ALS nursing hospital.
YOON shared his thoughts by stating, “I became interested in contributing to the society through SEAN, the board member of YG Entertainment and the co-representative of Seungil Hope Foundation, who is the personal example of making donations. I’m happy to join the good cause”.
On the news that SEUNGRI and YOON made contributions, Co-representative SEAN of Seungil Hope Foundation stated, “I’m grateful and am proud of my juniors making positive influences and sharing what they’ve earned with the society”. He continued, “I’m very grateful that they kept their warm heart of supporting the patients of ALS and their families and passed on their feelings through their donations. I’ll continue to do my best to pass on the hope towards the patients of ALS”.
Meanwhile, SEUNGRI will continue actively performing through his overseas tour titled ‘THE GREAT SEUNGRI TOUR 2019 LIVE’. He will perform in Hong Kong next year on January 12, in Tokyo from January 26~27, and in Osaka from March 9~10. The fantastic performances and joyous talks that can only be performed by SEUNGRI as a solo artist will grab the global fans’ hearts.
YOON will make comeback as WINNER with the group’s new single titled ‘MILLIONS’ on December 19. ‘MILLIONS’ is a song is a Pop/Dance genre that makes the listeners feel freshness and contains the message that ‘everyone has millions of reasons to be loved’.
