iKON Revels Theme Park Sign-Up Event… ‘Special Fan Service’

[엑스포츠뉴스=김주애 기자] Scenes from iKON’s first theme park signing event were revealed.

Photos congratulating iKON’s new mini album ‘NEW KIDS: THE FINAL’ were uploaded on iKON’s official social media. The signing event was held on Lotte World Garden Stage located in Songpa, Seoul.

iKON said hi towards the fans that filled up Lotte World’s Garden Stage. The members expressed their gratitude by signing ‘Thank you’ in hand while signing their own albums.

iKON stated, “We’re doing our first signing event on a theme park, and we’re happy to do so in front of a lot of people”. DK added, “The fan meeting was a good meeting”, while YOON stated, “I’m happy, and please show a lot of love on ‘GOODBYE ROAD’.

The members showed fan service by wearing character hats and posing while holding hands of fans.

B.I stated, “Thank you for coming, and I’ll make sure our group will be able to repay with more autographs”.

The photos from the signing event revealed touching scenes of iKON and the fans sharing a good time as artists and the fans.

While the title song ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ from ‘NEW KIDS: THE FINAL’ topped major Korean music charts, the group also topped the Album and Download Charts for Gaon Charts announced for the 40th week.

The album ‘NEW KIDS : THE FINAL’ set milestones by topping iTunes Album Charts in 25 different countries. The group also topped the K-Pop Weekly Chart and K-Pop MV Chart of QQ Music, which is China’s largest music service platform. They also topped KUGOU Music’s K-Pop New Releases Chart, proving the group’s popularity in the China region.

iKON won a total of 19 trophies in music broadcasts this year with songs ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, ‘KILLING ME’, ‘and ‘GOODBYE ROAD’.

While setting milestones in and out of Korea, iKON will continue the rest of their overseas tour. The group will perform in Bangkok on 10/19~10/20, in Sydney and Melbourne on 10/25 and 10/27 respectively, in Singapore on 11/4, Manila on 11/11, Jakarta on 11/18, and in Hong Kong on 11/25.
