According to OSEN’s report on September 21, YG Entertainment is currently preparing to launch a new boy group survival program. According to sources from a related official, BANG YEDAM is currently determined to “Make debut after doing his best in this survival program”, while practicing with hard work and sincerity.
A couple fans have recently witnessed BANG YEDAM shooting the corresponding program. BANG YEDAM has been a trainee at YG Entertainment for the past 5 years. He will now shine with his talents through the new boy group survival program.
Born in 2002, BANG YEDAM let his presence known for the first time through the SBS audition program ‘K-Pop Star Season 2’ aired back in 2012. BANG YEDAM won second place despite being an elementary school student, proving his extraordinary talent. He surprised the judges with his outstanding caliber even during the preliminaries. He became a trainee at YG after the program ended, preparing to make debut while receiving training.
Then, BANG YEDAM appeared on Mnet ‘Stray Kids’ aired back in 2017. Although it has been 4 years since he last showed his face on TV, he once again imprinted his strong presence while showing off his overwhelming talent. He not only dominated no. 1 spots in real-time searched keywords, but also social media video view counts as well. His matured looks, unique vocals, and matchless talent became a hot topic among internet users, raising anticipation on his upcoming debut.
With the support from fans, BANG YEDAM now became one step closer to making debut. The new YG boy group survival is projected to start in the end of this year, while the group is expected to make debut early next year.
