On August 25 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded a video that filmed the members sharing their thoughts on surpassing 10 million YouTube subscribers, through their official blog.
While they are currently on a Japan tour, BLACKPINK responded to the news with a bright smile and stated, “The number of subscribers on BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel have surpassed 10 million views”.
JISOO stated, “We thank YouTube headquarters for sending us a lovely letter and the Diamond Creator Award for surpassing 10 million subscribers” and revealed her bright smile.
JENNIE continued, “We would like to thank everyone that shows love on our contents, and our fans who always surprise us with the amount of love and support, once again”.
ROSÉ and JENNIE followed up by thanking the global fans with the same message again, in fluent English.
BLACKPINK surpassed 10 million YouTube subscribers at the end of July. Thus, they were awarded with YouTube’s ‘Diamond Creator Award’.
BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel has the highest number of subscribers among all channels operated by K-Pop idol groups.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK started their first arena tour in Japan last month on the 24th and is expected to perform in Japan’s Kyocera Dome on December 24 for the first time as a foreign girl group.
