Fans Respond by ‘Singing-Along’ in iKON’s Japan Fan Meeting Held in 3 Years… Full Concert in Seoul on the 18th
[스포츠조선=김성원 기자] iKON successfully completed their fan meeting in Japan in 3 years, after making another comeback this summer with the song ‘KILLING ME’.
On August 11 and 12, iKON held a fan meeting in Maihama Ampitheater for two days, to meet their Japanese fans.
iKON filled the scene with laughter through various corners hosted by the famous comedian ‘Kawamoto’, and presenting their sexy dance, acrostic poem, and doing impressions of BIGBANG.
After performing the Japanese version of ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ in the beginning, iKON fascinated Japanese fans by performing hits such as ‘KILLING ME’, ‘Beautiful’, and ‘DUMB & DUMBER’. As the fans requested for an ‘encore’ even after the performances, iKON got back on stage to perform their mega-hit, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’. iKON successfully wrapped up the fan meeting by making the fans sing-along with the members during their encore performance.
As iKON is receiving massive popularity from Japanese fans, the group will hold ‘iKON JAPAN TOUR 2018’ in 5 cities on August, to meet over 200,000 Japanese fans. They will also release the Japanese version of their 2nd album ‘RETURN’ on September.
With ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ released in early 2018, iKON dominated music charts in Korea by maintaining their no. 1 spot in Korean music charts for 43 days. They also earned the nickname ‘elementary school presidents’ by bringing the ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ sing-along fever among elementary school and kindergarten children.
After making another attempt on a mega-hit with the song ‘KILLING ME’, iKON topped iTunes Album Charts in 24 different countries, Japan’s iTunes Album Comprehensive and K-Pop Album Charts, and China Kugou Music’s K-Pop New Releases Chart, proving their global popularity.
