MV Teaser for iKON’s ‘Killing Me’ Revealed… Written and Composed by B.I and Surpasses the “Catchiness of ‘LOVE SCENARIO’”
[OSEN=김은애 기자] With their comeback 3 days ahead, iKON revealed the MV teaser for their title song today (30th) at 9:30 AM through YG’s official blog (www.yg-life.com).
The song had catchy melodies and lyrics that continued the biggest hit of early 2018, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ which maintained its no. 1 spot in music charts for 43 days. iKON’s ‘dark’ charms different from ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ were also displayed in the short teaser.
‘Killing Me’ is a track that expresses sadness and loneliness after a breakup and describes extreme emotions in the aftermath.
The members chose the ‘sharp group choreography’ as the highlight of the new track and notified hat the song will have a different style compared to their previous releases, which raised curiosities on the new song and the full version of the MV.
iKON previously revealed the track list for ‘NEW KIDS: CONTINUE’. The album is consisted of five tracks, while leader B.I participated in the writing and composing of the title song ‘Killing Me’, and the sub-title song ‘FREEDOM’ was chosen as the ‘favorite track from the album’ by B.I, BOBBY, and JU-NE.
iKON topped major Korean music charts for 43 days in early 2018 with ‘LOVE SCENARIO’. They recently earned the nickname ‘elementary school president’ by becoming massively popular among elementary school students and kindergarten children.
People are wondering whether iKON will be able to dominate music charts once again with another ‘mega hit song’.
iKON is planning to meet the fans in and out of Korea through concerts, along with the comeback. After releasing their album, iKON will meet the fans in Korea through their first concert of ‘iKON 2018 CONTINUE TOUR’ on August 18 at 5 PM, held in Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena.
