[Oh!SSEN CUT] “Flaming Eyes”… iKON’s BOBBY·JAY Reveal Individual Comeback Teasers
[OSEN=선미경 기자] While group iKON’s comeback is on D-3 countdown, members BOBBY and JAY revealed new lyric posters.
The poster included lyrics from ‘Killing Me’ which were partially revealed on the 30th through the MV teaser, ‘It’s killing me, your traces are bothering me again’ and another new phrase which stated, ‘Is it heartbreaking longing or just selfish loneliness’, raising curiosities on the full track.
Following the MV teaser, YG Entertainment revealed lyric posters for BOBBY and JAY through their official blog (www.yg-life.com) on 2 PM, presenting new charms distinguished from leader B.I and JU-NE.
BOBBY gave the viewers a strong impression with his new hairstyle and flaming eyes. His chic look and the way he stared at the camera grabbed the viewers’ attention in an instant.
The eldest member JAY also displayed a fresh look with his green hair. His high nose and sharp side line reminded viewers of a sculpture. While he is called ‘fairy’ by the fans for his cute looks, JAY revealed sexiness and masculinity through the revealed poster.
Since the posters were revealed after the MV teaser videos, the lyric posters containing phrases from the song are gathering attention.
The title song ‘Killing Me’ is at a fast tempo but has sad vibes and talks about a man who didn’t know a simple farewell would hurt him that much. The commonly used but deep phrase ‘Killing Me’ implies the man’s mixed feelings.
iKON’s upcoming mini album ‘NEW KIDS : CONTINUE’ is the final of the trilogy which began with ‘NEW KIDS : BEGIN’ last year on May, and ‘RETURN’ released this year on January.
The album contains a total of 5 tracks including the title song ‘KILLING ME’, sub-title song ‘FREEDOM’, ‘ONLY YOU’, ‘COCKTAIL’, and ‘JUST FOR YOU’.
While the syndrome from their mega hit ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ released on January continues across all generations, iKON noticed a speedy comeback on August 2.
They will not only present new music, but also hold an overseas tour to meet global fans. They will kick off the ‘iKON 2018 CONTINUE TOUR’ on August 18 at 5 PM at Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium.
