Comeback BLACKPINK Achieves ‘All-Kill’ in Music Charts…… Dominates Charts in Korea·China·Japan
[매경닷컴 MK스포츠=신연경 기자] BLACKPINK’s ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ achieved an ‘all-kill’ in music charts today (15th), in 2 hours since the song was released.
The title song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ from BLACKPINK’s mini album ‘SQUARE UP’ released on June 15 at 6 PM topped 7 music charts including Melon, Mnet, Genie, Naver Music, Soribada, Bugs, and Olleh Music, as of 8 PM.
The sub-title song ‘FOREVER YOUNG’ was placed at no. 2 following the title song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ in 6 different charts including Melon, Genie, Mnet, Olleh, Bugs, and Soribada, and was placed at no. 3 on Naver, displaying BLACKPINK’s strong presence in music charts. Other tracks including ‘REALLY’ and ‘SEE U LATER’ were also ranked high in various music charts.
By being ranked at no. 1 on music charts with the title song and gaining attention with other tracks from the album, BLACKPINK made a fabulous comeback after their 1-year vacancy period. Furthermore, the group proved their tremendous popularity by also dominating real-time searched keywords in various portal sites.

Furthermore, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ was placed at no. 1 on the K-Pop New Releases Chart in Kugou, which is one of the three largest music platforms in China. In other words, the group conquered music charts in Korea, China, and Japan.
