WINNER “An Official Album in 4 Years… We Feel More Nervous and Excited Since We Created It Ourselves” (INTERVIEW)

On April 4, WINNER had a round interview celebrating the release of their 2nd official album, ‘EVERYD4Y’ at a café located at Mapo district, Seoul.
HOONY stated, “We all feel nervous and excited since it’s our full-length album in 4 years. The album contains our thoughts and artistic views since the members participated in the creation of all tracks. We feel like the album is our child, so we feel more nervous and excited than we’ve ever been”.
JINU stated, “We feel excited and want our fans to listen to our project as soon as possible. We wrote songs thinking about our fans, so we want them to hear it”.
MINO stated, “It’s our full-length album in 4 years, but we work on creating even during our break. We try to stack songs so that we can release a project at any given time. There are a lot of artists out there in the market and even in YG so we feel grateful even when we’re able to release just a single, but we were lucky to release a full-length project thanks to YANG HYUN SUK’s unexpected offer”. He added, “We want to let the people listen to our songs as soon as possible”.
YOON stated, “The album contains our history and growth of our past 4 years. Some songs were made 4 years ago, some were made 3 years ago, while some were made 2 years ago, so you will feel the difference between songs”. He added, “It contains our emotions and musical growth of our past 4 years”.
He continued, “It can be a present-like album for the fans while showing the public that WINNER is capable to create such things. No matter how the results may turn out, it’s an album that satisfies us members”.
Meanwhile, WINNER will release their 2nd official album consisted of all tracks written and composed by themselves, including the title song ‘EVERYDAY’, today at 6 PM. The album contains various genres including Hip-hop, Trap, Acoustic, and Ballad.
The title song ‘EVERYDAY’ is a song in a bright Trap genre, with sophisticated sound sources and stereo imaging that will impress the listeners. The lyrics of the song wittily express the theme of spending ‘every day with the one you love’.
