SECHSKIES is coming back with “Special”… Fifth full album released after 18 years of absence




[E-Daily Star-in 이정현 기자] The title track of the fifth full album of SECHSKIES released after 18 years of absence is “SPECIAL”. 

As of September 18 at 9AM, YG Entertainment unveiled two teaser posters of SECHSKIES on the company’s official blog. The name of the album is “ANOTHER LIGHT” and the title track is “SPECIAL”.

”ANOTHER LIGHT” has a meaning that it is an “album that reflects the new concept and differentiated color and light of SECHSKIES”. It implies the future direction for SECHSKIES’ music going beyond the name as the first-generation idol group. 

The lyrics of “SPECIAL” were written by Kang Wook-Jin and LIØN who have taken part in numerous YG hit songs. Kang Wook-Jin, Diggy, and LIØN participated in writing the melody. It is a pop song that can be enjoyed by anyone. It has a cheerful and easy sound and impressively warm lyrics that sing about a beloved one.
