Regarding reports that indicate the filming process of ‘Kang’s Kitchen’ in Jeju Island is currently ongoing, tvN officials responded, “We cannot confirm your media coverage” on November 3, according to News 1. As ‘Kang’s Kitchen’ is being filmed in Korea, they are worried that there may be safety issues due to overcrowding if the filming location is revealed through the press.
‘Kang’s Kitchen’ is a spin-off series of ‘New Journey to the West Season 4’, which aired from June to August 2016. Lee Soo-geun mentioned Na Young-seok producer’s hit program ‘Youn’s Kitchen’, as he proposed the concept ‘Kang’s Kitchen’ during the show, which became reality.
