iKON’s Fabulous Comeback… No. 1 in Charts in Korea and Overseas

[한국경제tv=유병철 기자] iKON, having released their 2^nd official album in 2 years, made a fabulous comeback by being spotted at no. 1 at major Korean music charts and no. 1 at iTunes charts in 17 different countries.

The title song for iKON’s 2^nd official album, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, hit no. 1 at Melon, Genie, Olleh, and Bugs on January 26 at 8 AM. Furthermore, the song was placed at no. 1 at the iTunes charts in 17 different countries including Armenia, Brunei, Cambodia, Columbia, Costa Rica, Estonia, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and Thailand, proving their global popularity. They were spotted at no. 5 in the United States.

Billboard also reported iKON’s comeback.

On the new song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, Billboard left a favorable review by stating, “The song shows a more mature and emotional iKON, compared to the bright music they have recently released”. They added, “The highlight of the music video is when the camera spots iKON’s star shaped dance from above”.

With the release of the new album, iKON will begin their promotion in Korea, which will be more active than ever.

They will star in music broadcasts including MBC ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 27^th and SBS

‘Inkigayo’ on the 28^th. Furthermore, they will also display their charms in variety programs including ‘Weekly Idol’, ‘Sugar Man 2’, and ‘All Broadcasting in the World’.
