‘iKON PICNIC’, The Example of a Communicating Variety Show… Reveals Full Version of iKON’s ‘Perfect’
[OSEN=정지원 기자] A full version of the sweet duet performance by iKON’s vocals, JAY and JU-NE from ‘iKON PICNIC’ was revealed.
The stage performed by JAY and JUNE was provided as a full version through Naver’s JTBC ‘iKON PICNIC’ TV channel, on November 15. It’s a second surprise gift, along with the collective choreography clip.
The song ‘Perfect’ performed by JAY and JU-NE is a song from the mini album ‘NEW KIDS: BEGIN’, which was released in Japan last August. iKON swept both Oricon daily and weekly album charts whit this album, proving their global popularity.
iKON performed ‘Perfect’ in a TV show for the first time through ‘iKON PICNIC’. They sang the first verse with Korean lyrics for the fans in Korea, showing them love. The clip contained the full version of the performance, which was edited in the show due to broadcast length.
The production crew stated, “We were surprised by the explosive reaction on the collective choreography clip released earlier. We decided to show our appreciation by revealing the full version of JAY and JU-NE’s duet performance which was requested the second most, just after the choreography clip”.
They continued, “As this stage is released for the first time in Korea, we hope it’s a special surprise for fans of iKON”.
‘iKON PICNIC’ is getting positive reviews for being a ‘good-hearted variety show’ that reminds people of school day memories. JTBC’s ‘iKON PICNIC’ airs every Saturday night at 12:20 KST.
