iKON Successfully Kicked Off its Japan Tour, for Which the Group Will Perform in Eight Cities and Meet More Than 230,000 Fans

On September 9, iKON held a concert at the Kobe World Memorial Hall that drew more than 10,000 fans, signaling the successful start of the group’s extended Japan tour. iKON first performed “BLING BLING”, which topped Oricon’s CD Albums Chart. Then the group sang “‘SINOSIJAK REMIX” and “JUST ANOTHER BOY”.
iKON said, “Hi Kobe! Let’s have a great time tonight.” Then, the group sang their hit songs including “DUMB & DUMBER “, with which they have won the best new artist award at Japan Records last year, and “B-DAY”. The audience kept on cheering loudly until the very end of the concert.
Members tried to entertain the audience by making up songs on the spot with the guitar and showing their new talent.
After doing the encore performance, iKON thanked the audience by saying, “We’re so glad to start our tour with you here today. Thank you all. We’re so happy.”
In May and June, iKON did a dome tour titled “iKON JAPAN DOME TOUR 2017” and performed at the Kyocera Dome and the Seibu Prince Dome. The group took the shortest time from debut to go on a dome tour in Japan among foreign acts. The tour got extended, and iKON will be holding additional 22 concerts in eight cities, making the tour iKON’s longest and biggest tour. The concerts are expected to draw a total of 233,000 people.
