YG CEO YANG HYUN SUK is to do another audition show. YANG HYUN SUK was a cold but warmhearted judge on SBS’s K Pop Star and said warm words of encouragement to the contestants. Therefore, people are wondering what kind of a judge he will be on JTBC’s new show.
YANG HYUN SUK is to appear on JTBC’s new variety show, which will air later this year. It will be the first show made by HAN DONG CHUL, the producer of Mnet’s Show Me The Money and Unpretty Rapstar, after he moved to YG.
HAN DONG CHUL’s new audition show has become quite an issue as audition programs are the next big thing nowadays thanks to the mega-hit show Produce 101. For the new show, YANG HYUN SUK will go and visit entertainment companies across the nation to find new stars and help them debut.
However, there’s a big difference between HANG DONG CHUL’s new show and K Pop star, the show that YANG HYUN SUK was on just before. On K Pop Star, YANG HYUN SUK was a judge who only chose and give advices to the contestants, whereas on the new show, he will be directly involved in finding and training new trainees. Therefore, he will be playing a more active role and spending more time.
YANG HYUN SUK was a member of the legendary group Seotaiji and Boys, and he is currently the head of a top entertainment company that is home to global idol groups such as BIGBANG and BLACKPINK. Now, he will do his best to make talented idol groups as a member of a legendary boy group and a producer.
The new JTBC variety show will air at 6 PM on either Saturday or Sunday. Competition between audition shows will become fiercer with KBS starting a new idol audition show. This is why expectations are running high for the new collaboration between JTBC, HAN DONG CHUL, and YANG HYUN SUK.
