iKON to Perform “B-DAY” on This Week’s Music Core and Inkigayo
[동아닷컴=홍세영 기자] iKON has ended its promotions for “BLING BLING” and started promoting its “B-DAY”.
According to YG Entertainment, iKON is to perform “B-DAY” on MBC’s Show! Music Core on June 24 and SBS’s Inkigayo on June 25.
“B-DAY” has witty lyrics on top of a powerful fast beat. In the lyrics, members describe themselves as honey bees. The choreography to the part of the song that goes “Let’s go and suck honey” and “Buzz buzz buzz buzz” is especially interesting as members pretend to be bees.
iKON made a comeback last month with an EP titled “NEW KIDS: BEGIN”. They launched an active promotion campaign for “BLING BLING”, and their perfectly synchronized dance became a big issue.
Recently, iKON appeared on MBC Everyone’s Weekly Idol and showed off their humor. It was the the first time that all seven members went on a TV variety show together. On June 18, iKON members went on SBS’s Fantastic Duo and put on a collaboration stage with the band Revival for the show’s ending.
In addition to their TV show appearances, iKON has also carried out various activities such as signing events. They’ve been the most active since their debut.
B.I and BOBBY will appear on SBS Power FM’s Lee Kuk-joo’s Young Street as special djs on June 22-23. JU-NE and SONG will also be appearing as guests on the show.
