iKON “Cried while practicing group dance, improved stage presence” [Photography]
[TV리포트=김지현 기자] iKON unveiled their full swag in photography.
iKON has unveiled their fashion photography in “HIGH CUT” magazine to be published on June 1.
In an interview that followed the photo-shooting, iKON mentioned “BLING BLING”, one of the title tracks of their new album “NEW KIDS: BEGIN”. B.I who took part in writing the lyrics and melody of the song said, “It is a song full of swag. The lyrics are also filled with bluff. I expressed my wishes to ‘play hard’ in this song”. BOBBY said, “The album’s message is ‘Let’s play’ in a word. It is about the way of playing of young guys these days”. DK added, “It will be better if you listen to the song through speaker rather than earphones, and with other people rather than alone.”
JAY showed confidence by saying, “Our stage presence has been improved as well. I felt really ashamed when seeing my past stage performances for the last album. For this album, I’ve become a little bit more skilled in singing, performance, and handling of my eyes on the stage.” He also said that the team took extra care of the group dance. BOBBY made everyone burst into laughter by saying, “The group dance was really difficult. We once recreated the whole choreography again. You know, JAY once cried because of the difficult dance.”
iKON will continue with the “NEW KIDS” series, releasing new songs one after another. B.I said, “Most of the songs in our first album were written based on our imagination rather than real experiences, but it’s half and half for our new album. My own experiences and ideas are expressed in the new songs more than before.” DK gave a hint on the songs to be released from now on by saying, “There will be soft and tender songs as well. Please focus on their lyrics.”
