[New Songs For Your Commute] iKON Presents Stronger Hip Hop Swag as a Monster Rookie

Boy group iKON came back with deeper music. Their music is bubbly and full of their unique energy. It is deeper hip hop with a diverse appeal. iKON has been on a break for about a year, and now they have come back with the real thing.
At 6 PM on May 22, iKON’s new album “NEW KIDS: BEGIN” was released. The album has two title tracks, “BLING BLING” and “B-DAY”, and it marks the beginning of iKON’s new concept, the “new kids”. For the past year, iKON gained plenty of experience by holding concerts abroad, and now they have come back with new songs in which they have put their knowhow to use.
“BLING BLING” and “B-DAY” are very iKON-like but also very different from each other. They are catchy, upbeat, and exciting. iKON members have now grown from boys into men, and now they are ready to show off their rough side in a witty way. The “bling bling” hook part is especially addictive.
“BLING BLING” is an upgraded version of iKON’s “RHYTHM TA”. It is heavy and deep. The expressions used in the lyrics are rough, but they show that iKON is trendy and young. The beat is heavy and intense, but it goes well with the swag in the lyrics. The twist in the latter part of the song makes it even more interesting.
Even the title of the song “B-DAY” shows iKON’s unique identity. “B-DAY” is more energetic and playful than “BLING BLING”, and it is a song that everyone can enjoy. The analogy between iKON members and bees is cute. It is full of witty imagination and is a perfect song for the early summer.
