SECHSKIES Beats Suran and IU and Takes the No.1 Spot on Music Core
[텐아시아=윤준필 기자] SECHSKIES became No.1 on Show! Music Core.
On the May 13th episode of MBC’s Show! Music Core, SECHSKIES performed “BE WELL”. EUN JIWON was out of the country because he had to shoot tvN’s “New Journey To The West”, and TABLO came up on the stage to replace him. SECHSKIES beat Suran and IU and won the trophy that day.
After winning, SECHSKIES said, “We’d like to thank Mr. Yang for making it possible for us to sing on the stage like this. It’s a shame that EUN JIWON isn’t with us today. We’re happy that we released an album in the year that marks the 20th anniversary of our debut, and we’re really thankful to our Yellowkies fans.”
“BE WELL” is the title track of the album that SECHSKIES released to mark the 20th anniversary of its debut. It’s a sad ballad with sincere and honest lyrics about a couple undergoing breakup.
