[Crazy Charts] SECHSKIES is Becoming Legend of all Legends
[OSEN=최나영 기자] SECHSKIES is writing new history as one of the first generation idol groups.
As of 7 AM on May 7, SECHSKIES’s new song “BE WELL” is No.1 on Mnet.com and Naver Music. All the tracks in their new album such as “SAD SONG”, “HEARTBREAK”, and “RECKLESS LOVE” are also high up on the charts.
On April 28, SECHSKIES released a new album titled “THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY” to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut. It is SECHKIES’s first album containing new songs in 17 years, making it more meaningful that SECHSKIES’s new song achieved the top of the charts.
On MBC’s Show! Music Core aired on May 6, SECHSKIES’s “BE WELL” took the No.2 spot on its chart. YG Entertainment CEO YANG HYUN SUK posted a message on his Instagram page congratulating them right after the show. He also posted a picture showing that he was actually watching the show while on air.
The No.2 spot on a music show and the No.1 spot on music streaming websites cannot be possible without the support of fans. In many aspects, SECHSKIES deserves to be called the legend of all legends.
