WINNER Wins the First Half of MLT on Their First Non-cable Variety Show Appearance

On the first half of My Little Television-47 that aired on April 8, WINNER’s show recorded the highest viewers.
WINNER was the dark horse of My Little Television that day. It was WINNER’s first non-cable variety show appearance since the group’s debut. The members were eager to make the viewers laugh. When asked if WINNER stayed away from going on shows to avoid too much exposure, LEE SEUNGHOON explained, “I’ve been on variety shows a lot on my own, but this is the first time as a group. We want to prove that we can also do well on variety shows today.”
The theme of WINNER’s show was to hold a survival contest to see who is the funniest. The staff takes away the mike of the losers, and the final winner gets to see the head of MBC’s variety show division. They played six games, and KANG SEUNGYOON, KIM JINWOO, SONG MINO, and LEE SEUNGHOON were numbered each 1, 2, 3, and 4 for the voters.
Members were very eager. They were let down when viewers complained about their show being no fun on the chatting window but cheered up quickly when they received good feedback. KANG SUNGYOON, who was eliminated after the first game, was brought back and performed a Michael Jackson song.
Meanwhile, the theme of the Olympic gold medalist swimmer Jung Da-rae’s show was a swimming lesson. She showed unexpected charm by saying “See? It’s a piece of cake” repeatedly and laughing loudly. YOO BYUNG JAE’s show was about pro-wrestling as he has always been a big fan of the sport. Real professional wrestlers came on the show and did trial games. YOO BYUNG JAE was able to prove that he knows a lot about pro-wrestling and gave a big laugh to viewers at the same time. Kim Gura did his show along with Kim Jung-min, and it was about writing.
