iKON Does the Finale of Japan’s Tokyo Girls Collection
[OSEN=선미경 기자] iKON performed at the 24th Tokyo Girls Collection and enthralled 314,000 fans.
iKON did the finale stage of the 24th Tokyo Girls Collection SPRING/SUMMER, which was held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium on March 25.
iKON sang live the remix versions of its hit songs “DUMB AND DUMBER” and “SINO SIJAK” with great power and charisma.
Also, iKON members walked the runway along with the models for YG’s high-end street brand “Nonagon”. The group’s “RHYTHM TA REMIX (Rock Ver.)” was played as background music.
The event was streamed live on “‘LINE LIVE”, and more than 150,000 viewers were watching iKON’s stage.
Reflecting its huge popularity in Japan, iKON was named the best new artist at the 58th Japan Record Awards. The group successfully completed its encore arena tour, “iKON JAPAN TOUR 2016~2017”, on March 20 by drawing more than 120,000 people.
iKON is to hold “iKON JAPAN DOME TOUR 2017” and become the first foreign artist to hold a dome tour in just a year and nine months after debut. The group will hold two concerts in two cities: at the Kyocera Dome on May 20 and the Seibu Prince Dome on June 17.
Meanwhile, iKON is currently making preparations to make a comeback in Korea with self-written songs.
