YG’s Mascot, Krunk, Gets Invited to an Hong Kong Event and Goes Viral Globally

[OSEN=김은애 기자] Krunk, the mascot of YG Entertainment, was spotted in Hong Kong.

On March 24, Krunk was seen at the opening event of a Kenzo store at Time Square in Hong Kong receiving much media spotlight.

Krunk was first introduced at LEE HI’s “IT’S OVER” music video in 2013. Afterwards, the blue bear appeared in a number of music videos. It has become a mascot of YG by appearing in various events and being made into promotion goods for YG artists. Now, Krunk has fans from all around the world.

It is the first time that a character has appeared at a Kenzo event. Experts commented that Krunk’s image of street and hip hop music goes well with Kenzo’s flamboyant and unique brand image.

Celebrities that came to the event were also excited to see Krunk.

Meanwhile, pictures of Krunk with Vice President Kenzo Asia Jerome Mallet taken at the event have been posted on Krunk’s official Instagram page (Krunk_official).
