AKMU is coming back… “LAST GOODBYE” and “REALITY”, double title tracks for new album
[OSEN=이소담 기자] The titles of the double title tracks of AKMU’s new album have been unveiled. The titles are “LAST GOODBYE” and “REALITY”.
On January 2 at 10AM, YG Entertainment (“YG”) uploaded a poster for the double title tracks of AKMU’s new album “WINTER”, on the company’s official blog.
The poster displays AKMU sitting in front of a camping car against the backdrop of starry night sky. It shows “LAST GOODBYE” and “REALITY”, the titles of the double title tracks of AKMU’s new album.
“LAST GOODBYE” is a ballad with an acoustic guitar melody, riff, and string along with AKMU’s appealing vocal. The song’s lyrics talk about a feeling of missing ex-lover. Notably, AKMU’s LEE CHAN HYUK expressed his affection for the song, saying, “LAST GOODBYE is a song from my experience and I really cherish the song”.
“REALITY”, the other title track, is a modern folk pop song with a cheerful and bubbly sound production added by AKMU’s narration. The song talks about the innocence in adolescence, with AKMU’s flagship cheerful and witty lyrics.
AKMU’s new album “WINTER” has total eight songs including double title tracks “REALITY” and “LAST GOODBYE”, as well as “Live”, “Play Ugly”, “CHOCOLADY”, “YOU KNOW ME”, “Way Back Home”, and “Will Last Forever”. LEE CHAN HYUK wrote all the songs in the new album.
Before the release of the new album, AKMU released 20-minute musical short film “SPRING of WINTER” that presented parts of all the eight songs in the new album, to further raise fans’ anticipation for the album. AKMU’s new album “WINTER” will be released on January 3 at 0 o’clock.
