SEUNGRI Goes on Flower Crew for his First Variety Appearance in Two Years and Says “I’ve been fooled by YG”
[엑스포츠뉴스=김선우 기자] BIGBANG’s SEUNGRI appears on the December 11 episode of SBS’s Flower Crew.
It was his first variety show appearance in two years, but he was practically fooled into doing it by YG’s YANG HYUN SUK.
Upon his arrival in Korea after BIGBANG’s concert in Japan, SEUNGRI was whisked to the Flower Crew shooting set. When SEUNGRI called YANG HYUN SUK, YANG HYUN SUK asked if he knows what Flower Crew is and SEUNGRI answered no. YANG HYUN SUK hung up after saying “Then, you’ll get to know what it is”, leaving SEUNGRI in a state of confusion.
To no avail, SEUNGRI tried to appeal to the staff’s sympathy by saying, “I was sleeping on the plane, and I woke up to find myself here.” But, it didn’t taking long for him to adjust despite his long break as he has a lot of experience. He has done a number of variety shows in Korea and even hosted shows in Japan.
Meanwhile, KANG SEUNGYOON and YOO BYUNG JAE, who are from the same management company as SEUNGRI, tried to take advantage of the situation. They pretended to be SEUNGRI and imitated SEUNGRI’s crap dance of his solo song “STRONG BABY” and his catch phrase “everything” and succeeded in fooling the viewers during the V live fate vote. They got the most votes, but afterwards, KANG SEUNGYOON suddenly became apologetic to BIGBANG fans and made everyone laugh.
In addition, SEUNGRI gave tips on how to do variety shows to his lablemate KANG SEUNGYOON, and he was really good at applying them right away.
