SECHSKIES’ remarkable sense of humor stood out in “Running Man” show
[엑스포츠뉴스=나금주 기자] Group SECHSKIES captivated “Running Man” show with their outstanding sense of humor. Notably, the harmony between Lee Jaijin humor, Jang Suwon’s clumsiness, and Eun Jiwon’s grumbling created funny scenes.
SECHSKIES and actress Hwang Wooseulhye appeared in SBS TV’s “I Love Sunday – Running Man” show aired on November 20 as guests, to engage in “catch-the-joker” race.
In “Running Man” show of the day, SECHSKIES’ members, actress Song Ji-hyo, other cast members of “Running Man” show, and actress Hwang Wooseulhye were divided into two teams, to engage in a variety of games. In the first round, they engaged in a limbo game. Each of SECHSKIES’ members dropped a word to Lee Jaijin who was the runner for the game and hearing that, Yoo Jae-seok said, “Now I know why you guys fought so much back then”, making all the people burst into laughter.
Jang Suwon was unanimously picked as the runner for speed word quiz. He grumbled but soon came forward for the game. Eun Jiwon went off on Jang Suwon who failed to explain the words for the quiz well. The next game was a pillow fight on a balance beam. Eun Jiwon swung his pillow to attack the other, but he got punched by his own pillow. Jang Suwon fell down the beam while fiercely attacking Lee Gwang-soo.
Lee Jaijin was ragged by Yoo Jae-seok while making a pose on the balance beam. Upon beginning of the game, Lee Jaijin fell down the beam by crossfire from his counterpart. Watching Lee falling down, Eun Jiwon shouted, “What’s the meaning of taking off your clothes if that is all you can do”, creating a funny scene. The pictures drawn for the second-round game were all mess, to confuse everyone.
The team of SECHSKIES lost the first two rounds, so they had to beg for side dishes, wandering around the town holding just a bowl of steamed rice on their hands. Song Ji-hyo resisted, saying, “We can’t let our guests eat on the street”. Eun Jiwon made everyone burst into laughter once again, saying, “That is okay with us, we’re already like beggars”. In the meantime, Jang Suwon displayed suspicious behaviors, suggesting a toast to Song Ji-hyo abruptly. All those were the sign of Jang Suwon being the joker.
The final round of games was a rubber hammer competition. Lee Jaijin suddenly made a monkey sound, saying, “I’ll make monkey sound when I spot the other team”. Yoo Jae-seok and Lee Gwang-soo responded, “You can just call us by saying”, but Lee’s decision was unshakable.
Eventually, however, Lee Jaijin’s decision worked. When he spotted a member of the other team, Lee frightened them by making monkey sound and Song Ji-hyo ran to help him to lead the game to their winning. As a result, the team of SECHSKIES and Song Ji-hyo won the round.
Right at that moment, Jang Suwon came out to complete his final hidden mission of hitting Kim Jong-gook with his rubber hammer and shouting “I’m the joker”. However, the timing was not right, as Jang misunderstood that all the games were completed by then. Eun Jiwon shouted in shock, “We haven’t even changed the team members” and the staff just could not say anything. Song Ji-hyo’s team without the joker became the final winner. Jang Suwon, the joker, donated rice in his name.
