YG’s BOBBY is coming as a solo artist… “Coming Soon” teaser is unveiled… “Real hip-hop”
[OSEN=최나영 기자] Rapper BOBBY, who is also group iKON’s member, has unveiled the first teaser image for his solo comeback.
From a few months ago, news about BOBBY’s preparation for this solo album has surfaced. Today(August 29), YG Entertainment officially confirmed on BOBBY’s solo comeback on the company’s official blog.
The teaser image shows “COMING SOON” in a large font, indicating that BOBBY’s solo album will be released soon.
BOBBY is the main rapper of iKON that debuted one year ago, as well as the winner of “Show Me the Money 3” aired in 2014. BOBBY’s rap style with impressively rough and tough voice always presents performances with full energy.
BOBBY is 20-years-old. He is a member of boy group iKON that held Japan arena tour within only one year of their debut. Now, he is to evolve into a real artist, releasing a solo album.
BOBBY was 19-years-old when he won “Show Me the Money 3” competition. His solo album and performance to be released two years after that is expected to be filled with a real hip-hop that well-demonstrates BOBBY’s identity and appeals.
YG Entertainment will unveil teaser images of BOBBY’s solo comeback every day from now on.
