TREASURE Unveils Unit-song VolKno’s M/V Coming Soon Poster…Intense Hip-hop Vibes
[OSEN=선미경 기자] A coming soon poster was unexpectedly unveiled on the 26th, for group TREASURE’s music video for their unit-song ‘VolKno’. Global fans’ attention is being drawn to the poster as it not only hinted on the atmosphere of the music video, but since it’s a song full of powerful hip-hop swag, quite different from what they’ve previously presented.
The poster itself was full of charismatic energy. A car full of flames soaring up to the sky was more than enough to steal fans’ attention. Curiosity started running even higher as the image is parallel to their lyrics ‘Explode VolKno/ Spread VolKno’.
Although the release date hasn’t been unveiled just yet, fans’ expectations are running high, as the image hinted on a mega scale music video, similar to their official title-song. Previously, YG had said “This will be the birth of a new high-quality clip representing TREASURE, not just a one-off event clip”, while announcing the news of them currently filming the music video.
‘VolKno’ is the first unit song of the rapper line CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, and HARUTO, and is listed on TREASURE’s 2nd mini album ‘THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER TWO’. The song drew enthusiastic responses from music fans as it was praised as a song that lives up to ‘YG’s hip-hop style’, as it contained explosive energy like a volcano and members’ dynamic shouts.
The music video, which has been especially prepared for fans, will show the perfect synergy between the 3 members. YG said “From the making of the song to the production of the M/V, a lot of their ideas were reflected into the music video. Please show lots of interest”.
Meanwhile, TREASURE will be holding the ‘2022 TREASURE TOUR [HELLO] IN SEOUL’ on the 12th and 13th of November at Seoul Olympic Park KSPO DOME. They will then hold an arena tour in Japan starting with Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center on November 26th. They will hold a total of 210,000 audiences, which is the most out of K-POP artists that’s holding a concert for the first time in Japan.
