YG announced “Sechs Kies will hold the first concert in 16 years in this September” [Official announcement]
[스포츠조선=이유나 기자] Sechs Kies has confirmed on their solo concert which they have long dreamt of.
Sechs Kies will hold their solo concert for the first time in 16 years since the team’s breakup in 2000, on September 10 and 11 this year at Olympic Gymnastics Arena.
Sechs Kies was originally supposed to hold a concert in June, but after signing contract with YG Entertainment, they postponed it in order to present more perfect performances to fans. To keep the promise, Sechs Kies is now working hard on the preparation for the concert and comeback, after completing all individual schedules.
Sechs Kies has been drawing keen attention for their reunion, since the team’s guerrilla concert in MBC “The Infinite Challenge – Saturday concert 2” aired in this April. The members of Sechs Kies have been warming up for their comeback both individually and as a complete team, appearing in a variety of TV shows such as “Radio Star”, “Yoo Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook”, “Happy Together”, and “Take Care of My Refrigerator”.
Sechs Kies left a deep impression to viewers of “The Infinite Challenge” show, as the guerrilla concert was filled with yellow balloons of fans even though it was held on a weekday. Now, Sechs Kies is drawing big attention once again, for what kind of great spectacles they will create for fans at the concert.
