SECHS KIES on Sketchbook Brings Back Special Memories
[스포츠서울=장우영 기자] SECHS KIES appears on You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook and brings back special memories as a present for the fans.
On the June 11th episode of KBS2’s You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook, SECHS KIES appeared as a guest and brought back many special memories.
When You Hee-yeol implied that SECHS KIES is about to appear on the show, the audience started to cheer loudly. There were a lot of SECHS KIES fans in the audience holding up yellow balloons, wearing yellow raincoats, and displaying banners that had various phrases written on them such as “Thank you for coming back SECHS KIES!”
Then, SECHS KIES came up on the stage singing “COMEBACK”. Their fans sang along with them when as they went on to sing “CHIVALRY” and “POMSAENGPOMSA”. They still had the moves, which sent the audience into a near frenzy.
Before talking to the host, SECHS KIES introduced themselves to the audience not in the way that they did when they just debuted but in 2016 style. LEE JAE JIN introduced himself as “the critic of everything”. JAN SU WON introduced himself as the “actor of SECHS KIES” and showed different expressions for each of the three syllables of You Hee-yeol. KANG SUNG HOON put on an impromptu live performance singing to the piano played by You Hee-yeol.
Members noted how they’ve all changed. EUN JI WON said that LEE JAE JIN “became more cheerful.” KANG SUNG HOON said that EUN JI WON is “like a mischievous school kid on variety shows but with SECHS KIES, he comes back to being the charismatic leader.”
They went on to say, “This is the last show we will do as part of our official promotion schedule. We had thought we’ll be together forever but we got disbanded. But because of that past, we’re here today after 16 years, and we would like to thank our fans for waiting so long.” SECHS KIES sang a medley of their hit songs, making the audience feel as if they are at a mini-concert of SECHS KIES.
