[Music Talk Talk] May is Indeed AKMU’s Month
[OSEN=박소영 기자] It is spring, the season of festivals, outdoor events, and picnics. AKMU’s music is in hot demand as it is clear and refreshing.
AKMU released their “SPRING Vol. 1” album on May 4. The title tracks of the album, “RE-BYE” and “HOW PEOPLE MOVE”, rank high on the charts as of May 15 and is expected to stay there for a while.
AKMU is no.1 on Gaon’s digital chart and download chart for the 19th week (May 1-7). On its download chart in particular, AKMU’s songs took the top three spots.
AKMU’s music has gone viral. One could easily hear their music on the streets, and their songs are a must for outdoor events. The better the weather, the more AKMU’s songs are played.
Their music is powerful thanks to witty lyrics and unique cross of genres. One would never get tired of listening to their music as it is original, unlike the hook songs that dominate Korea’s music scene of today.
AKMU’s music shines more in the beautiful month of May. The golden days of AKMU has begun.
