AKMU will release a new album on May 4, putting an end to their 18-month hiatus. The title of the new album is “SPRING”. The teaser picture featuring AKMU in school uniform was released earlier on, raising expectations for their new album. It is welcome news that AKMU, who is widely loved for their witty and bubbly music, is making a comeback, and fans are wondering what kind of music will they come back with and how will they touch their hearts.
LEE CHAN HYUK wrote all the tracks in AKMU’s albums so far. Their debut album “PLAY” consisted of bright and exciting songs as well as heavy, serious songs. AKMU also showed their deep musical sensitivity with their single “TIME AND FALLEN LEAVES”. AKMU wrote their own songs even in their K-Pop Star days.
