With Only a Day to Go until iKON’s Comeback, Expectations are Mounting
[엑스포츠뉴스=정지원 기자] The countdown for the release of iKON’s new digital singles “APOLOGY” and “ANTHEM” has begun.
At 12 AM on November 15, YG Entertainment put up countdown timers for iKON’s new digital singles “APOLOGY” and “ANTHEM”, which will both be released at midnight on November 16, and iKON’s show on V App titled iKONIGHT COUNTDOWN LIVE, which will start an hour before the release of their new singles, on their official blog (www.yg-life.com).
The countdown poster of iKON’s “APOLOGY”, a slow R&B song about the pain and sorrow of a breakup, features the seven iKON members looking sad and delicate. The countdown poster of “ANTHEM” is quite a contrast. On the neon-colored countdown poster, B.I and BOBBY stand near a basketball post looking fierce.
iKON’s B.I And BOBBY will be showing off their powerful rap in the subtitle song “ANTHEM”. The title song, “APOLOGY”, is a sweet R&B song that will show the delicate side of iKON. With these two very different singles, iKON will charm the fans with their contrasting appeals.
YG’s top producers, TEDDY, KUSH, and CHOICE37, have teamed up with iKON for their new singles, and it will be interesting to see the special chemistry between them.
Before the release of their digital singles, iKON will be doing a live show on Naver’s V App titled “iKONIGHT COUNTDOWN LIVE” from 11 PM on November 15 to be with the fans when the singles get released. Since iKON’s V App shows have always been fun and exciting, fans are really looking forward to watch this live show.
Meanwhile, iKON will be releasing “ANTHEM” and “APOLOGY” along with the MVs at 12 AM on November 16 and their debut full album on December 14.
