“Just full of myself”… Sentimental lyrics of iKON’s “APOLOGY” unveiled
[마이데일리=전원 기자] Part of sentimental lyrics of idol boy group iKON’s new title track “APOLOGY” has been unveiled.
On November 12 at 9am, YG Entertainment posted iKON member B.I’s individual poster under the title of ‘iKON – DOUBLE DIGITAL SINGLE ‘APOLOGY’ ‘B.I’, on the company’s official blog.
In the black-and-white poster, iKON’s leader B.I is staring at something, with a lonely and complicated facial expression. A phrase from the sentimental lyrics of “APOLOGY” is put on the poster, drawing a keen attention. The phrase that goes “Having left no one photo of us, we’re just full of myself until the very last moment” is catching the eyes, with a new feel totally different from the intense lyrics of “ANTHEM” which was unveiled on the 10 this month.
“APOLOGY” is an R&B song with a slow tempo, which expresses a man’s sorrow and pain of breaking up with his lover. B.I and BOBBY directly took part in writing the lyrics of the song, and YG’s main producer TEDDY and KUSH also participated in writing the song’s lyrics, as well as in its composition and arrangement.
iKON will release the music and videos of “ANTHEM” and “APOLOGY” on the 16 this month and a full album on December 14.
