iKON unveils performances of new songs for the first time on the 22 in SBS “INKIGAYO”
[동아닷컴=장경국 기자] iKON will unveil performances for their new songs for the first time on the 22 this month in “SBS INKIGAYO”.
On the stage of “INKIGAYO” of that day, iKON will present the performances of the two songs in their new double digital single: “APOLOGY” and “ANTHEM”.
“APOLOGY” whose performance will be unveiled for the first time in TV on the 22 is a slow R&B song that drew keen attention for the collaboration between YG’s main producers TEDDY and KUSH for the song. It expresses a man’s sorrow of breaking up with his lover. “ANTHEM” whose performance will be unveiled for the first time, too, along with “APOLOGY” is an original hip-hop song of B.I and BOBBY’s unit team. These two rappers of iKON present impressively intense and bold rapping in the song.
iKON’s fans are paying keen attention to how iKON will express the two songs which have totally contrasting appeals.
Notably, a choreography video of “APOLOGY” unveiled on the 18 left a strong impression with the members’ tender but disciplined group dance, as well as free individual dance that demonstrates each member’s appeals. Thus, fans’ anticipation for iKON’s TV performance scheduled for the 22 is rising high.
iKON’s “APOLOGY” and B.I and BOBBY unit team’s “ANTHEM” released on the 16 at 0 o’clock showed enormous influence on charts, taking No.1 and No.2 upon their release. They are still staying in high ranks on major music charts, through four days from their release.
Music videos of the two songs are also creating sensation. As of the 19 at 9am, the videos of “APOLOGY” and “ANTHEM” are recording 2,104,138 views and 1,559,714 views, respectively, surpassing 3.6 million views in total.
Meanwhile, iKON will release a full album on December 14, along with many TV performances of “APOLOGY” and “ANTHEM”.
