T.O.P acts in drama series for the first time in 7 years, “I’ve waited for an opportunity to come closer to the public”
[OSEN=정소영 기자] BIGBANG’s T.O.P talked about the reason why he has not acted in drama series recently.
T.O.P hosted V-APP live-broadcasting “Secret Message Preview-T.O.P” from 8pm on the 28.
T.O.P said, “‘Secret Series’ is my first drama series in seven years since ‘Iris’. I was asked much about why I didn’t act in drama series recreantly, but actually I’ve waited for an opportunity to come closer to the public. That opportunity is ‘Secret Message’ and I really wanted to work for this series.”
“I wanted to show myself as an ordinary guy and I wanted to appeal to people with the story of young people these days. Some of my fans were worried about me doing an web-drama, but I think those worries came from a kind of prejudice against new and unfamiliar type of contents. As a young man, I wanted to try this new type of content regardless of its success. I did my best for this series with such mind, so please see and enjoy it.”, added T.O.P.
