YG’s Next Artist Female? Face Still Under Veil
[OSEN=강서정 기자] YG Entertainment hinted that the next artist to make a comeback is female.
On its official blog YG Life, the agency unveiled an image that hinted the next artist to come.
The image, that puts the artist’s face under veil, is building up curiosity and anticipation. On the box of a snack that the artist is holding says “New Unit,” hinting that it will be either a duet or a bigger number of artists in one.
What excites the fans more is that there is a caption that says the artist will be unveiled at midnight on Nov 11.
On Nov 27, the first teaser came out, and on 29 another teaser had a caption that read “1+1,” while the last teaser had the words “WHO’S NEXT.” The latest one, released today, only builds up excitement.
As all YG’s artists this year, including 2NE1, AKDONG MUSICIAN, TAEYANG, WINNER and EPIK HIGH, were hugely successful, all eyes are on the agency to see to whom the success baton will be passed on.
