“MIX & MATCH” Starts Collaboration Match with YG Female Artists
[OSEN=김사라 기자] YG Entertainment (“YG”) begins a collaboration match in episode 5 of “MIX & MATCH”, a survival show designed to select the members of YG’s new boy group iKON.
In the preview of “MIX & MATCH”’s episode 5 that was unveiled on the 6, nine members of “MIX & MATCH” and YG’s female trainees demonstrated short piece of their collaboration performance, drawing a big attention.
In the end of episode 4 aired last week, three female vocalists of YG including AKMU’s LEE SU HYUN, LEE HI, and JANG HAN NA who joined YG through “K-Pop Star 3”, met JINHWAN’s team (KIM JINHWAN, SONG YUNHYEONG, and JUNG JINHYEONG), B.I’s team (B.I, YANG HONG SEOK, and KIM DONGHYUK), and BOBBY’s team (BOBBY, KOO JUNHOE, and JUNG CHANWOO). The scene of their first encounter heightened fans’ expectations for the new collaboration mission.
LEE SU HYUN has been drawing much attention for her songs of pure emotions and wits, singing as AKMU recently. She is especially recognized for her clear ringing voice. LEE HI is also enjoying a big popularity for her soulful and sentimental vocal. Finally, JANG HAN NA is a good vocalist too, who was recognized for her talent and potential in “K-Pop Star 3”.
Fans are paying keen attention to what teamwork “MIX & MATCH” members and YG’s female vocalists will show, and if YANG HONGSEOK and JUNG JINHYEONG who lost last week’s pre-match by a narrow margin will show their true talent this time.
